AUSTRALIAN ESU

The ESU Victorian Branch is a member of the Australian English Speaking Union (AESU), a national federated body whose members comprise ESU branches in Australia.

The AESU currently comprises:

  • ESU Australian Capital Territory Branch
  • ESU New South Wales Branch (Links to website and Facebook) - founded 1923
  • ESU Queensland Branch (Link to website)
  • ESU South Australia Branch - founded 1923
  • ESU Victoria Branch - founded 1919

The AESU sponsors national collaborative activities such as the My Magna Carta competition in 2015.

ESU International

The AESU is an affiliate of the international ESU, with contacts with ESU branches in English-speaking countries.

The AESU was represented at events in 2018 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the ESU, following its formation in London in 1918.
